Day # 1: Arrival Cairo
On your arrival to Cairo you will be met by Memphis Tours Cairo representative who will handle your Egyptian entry visa (need to be checked ahead with your tour operator at time of booking and advise your nationality please) and assist you through customs formalities and then you will be escorted by your tour director to the hotel for check in with free time and overnight stay
Day # 2: Cairo to Luxor/ Dendera and Abydos Temples
Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and transferred to Cairo airport to fly to Luxor, where you will be accompanied by your personal English speaking guide and driver to the Dendera temple, the temple for the goddess Hathor. Not like the "real" ancient Egyptian temples in Luxor, the remains here are from the Greek-Roman times. The temple has also a large relief of Cleopatra VII and the son she got with Emperor Julius Cesar. Continue to the temple of Abydos which is the most intact temple of ancient Egyptian temples that was built during the rule of Seti I the father of Ramses II. The atmosphere here is truly unique, a high artistic level of the relief’s and strong colors which unbelievable enough is the original colors then have a relaxing drive back to Luxor for some leisurely free time with a great opportunity to attend the sound and Light show at the Karnak temple in the East Bank of the Nile with a peaceful overnight stay at the hotel
Day # 3: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours
Enjoy your Breakfast at the hotel, Check out from the hotel and you will be met by our company Representative. in the hotel lobby and then you will transfer to embark your 5* Nile cruiser, You will have lunch and free time on board. In the afternoon you will be pick up by our Egyptologist English expert guide to visit Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship that was ever built! Its ancient name Ipet-isut means “the most sacred of places.” The temple, or, more correctly, the complex of temples, was built over more than two thousand years by generation after generation of pharaohs. Within the complex, the great “Hypostyle Hall” is an incredible forest of giant pillars .Then you will be transferred to the majestic Luxor temple which built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the god Amun, and then you will be taken back to your cruise ship, dinner on board and free time with an enjoyable overnight stay
Day # 4: Nile Cruise Tours
Enjoy your Breakfast onboard the cruise, and then you will be moved into the West Bank of the river Nile to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), and then visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs discovered, those tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs, you will the chance to visit 3 tombs. Then you will Continue the tour to visit the Hatshipsut temple at El Deir El Bahary, this impressive temple dedicated to the Queen Hatshipsut the only female pharaoh who rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it then back to the cruise for lunch, and sail to Esna with afternoon tea, Enjoy some leisurely free time aboard the cruise and then have dinner and an enjoyable overnight stay
Day # 5: Nile Cruise Tours
After your relaxing breakfast aboard the cruise, you will be transferred to visit the famed Esna temple, with some free time in Esna then back to the cruise ship to continue sailing to Edfu, where you will be transferred by horse drawn carriage to visit the famous Edfu temple also know as the temple of Horus& Haroeris, the falcon-headed solar war god is the largest and most perfectly preserved of all the Nile temples, back to the cruise by the same way to sail to Kom Ombo with lunch, afternoon tea and dinner aboard your cruise with some free time and over night stay on board at Kom Ombo
Day # 6: Nile Cruise Tours
Enjoy your Breakfast aboard the cruise then you will be transferred to visit Kom Ombo temple, the crocodile-headed God of fertility and creator of the world and then return to your cruise vessel to sail to Aswan with lunch, on board. In Aswan you will be taken on an exciting tour to the world famous High Dam that was an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. It contains 18 times the material used in the Great Pyramid of Cheops; continue to the granite quarries which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples. The quarries still hold the famous Unfinished Obelisk and then you will be taking by motor-boat to island of Egilka visit the majestic Philae temple that was dedicated to the Goddesses Isis. Return to your ship for dinner and some leisurely free time in Aswan and an enjoyable overnight stay aboard the cruise
Day # 7: Nile Cruise Tours /Sleeper train to Cairo
Disembark from the cruise after breakfast .with free time at leisure in Aswan. You may enjoy an Optional tour to Abu Simbel by air /overland to visit the impressive temples of Nefertari and Ramses II, Next you will be transferred to the railway station to board the first class sleeper train Wagon-Lit to Cairo with dinner served aboard and a peaceful overnight stay
Day # 8: Giza Sightseeing Tours
After your breakfast aboard you will be arriving at Cairo railway station, where you will be met and assisted by our company representative and then transferred to your hotel for check in and free time. Your private English speaking Egyptologist guide will take you to the amazing Pharaonic Cairo to visit the Step Pyramids and the Fine Tombs at Sakkara, the Statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx at Memphis that was the ancient capital of Egypt during the old kingdom. From there you will be moved into the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mykerinos and the almighty sphinx, the royal human head on a lion's body then to the valley temple, two awesome megalithic temples, known as the Sphinx Temple, and the Valley Temple traditionally attributed to the Pharaoh Chephren that is an absolute wonder of engineering .Lunch en route at specialty restaurant nearby the pyramids with free time for shopping. Return back to your hotel for relaxation, enjoy some free time and overnight stay
Day # 9: Cairo Sightseeing tours
After your breakfast at your hotel, you will be taken for a guided tour to the Egyptian Museum of antiques ( there may be an extra charge added for these extra tour activities ) that was built in the neo-classical style by the French architect Marcel Dourgenon the museum housing over 120000 objects from different Pharaonic eras especially those of the child king Tutankhamen . Then you will visit the citadel of Saladin and Mohammed Ali`s Alabaster Mosque .You will have your Lunch en route at a good quality restaurant in Cairo downtown .Then drive to the Old Cairo to visit the old Coptic churches and the fortress of Babylon where the holy family took a refuge. Leaves the Church of St Barbara and St. St. George's church to the Islamic Cairo and Khan El Khalili bazaars and Old Market with free time to walk around and discover the amazing area in your way then back to your hotel for a restful overnight stay
Day # 10: Cairo –home
Enjoy your Breakfast at the hotel with some leisurely free time and then you will be met by our company representative in the hotel lobby for transfer to Cairo airport for your outbound flight back home
